After the Winter Olympics, our enthusiasm for ice and snow sports continues to burn. Students of BNUBS took over the baton and served in the Paralympic for the disabled athletes to promote the successful operation of the Winter Paralympic Games. At the closing ceremony of 2022 Beijing Paralympic Winter Games held on March 13th, a total of nine students from BNUBS participated in various special tasks. They are: Sun Xiaoran, Li Jing, Zhang Zixin, Fan Yuxin, Gao Yutong, Cui Mengting, Ding Yi, Sun Jingting, Zhang Yiyuan. The nine students served as national and regional team guiders, flag-bearers and pacesetters. Zhang Zixin

I feel very honored and proud to participate in this CB! I will always remember the night when we slept on the floor of National Stadium, the hug when I felt tired and loss. When we left from port 4 on 13th, I heard FM say: "Girls are doing great today!" At that time, I burst into tears, as if to cry out all the anxiety, exhaustion and self-doubt of 107 days, and as if a dream had broken and lost. It wad a grand ending, with snow scattering everywhere but still shining.Although the Winter Paralympic Closing Ceremony is over, but it left me more precious memories of shining friendship, and I will always love them! Let’s fight together and move to the future together!

Sun Xiaoran

Passionate but firm, we aim to be an extraordinary snowflake. Thanks to the director, brothers and sisters who accompanied us all the way for 107 days. You are all shining beautifully in my memory.

Cui Mengting
Flag-bearer of Brazil Delegation
Class of 2019, undergraduate of BNUBS
I would like to thank my motherland for letting me have the opportunity to have a glorious youth. Being born in the prime, I aim to live up to the prime. I will always cherish the sky above and the memory in the National Stadium.

Sun Jing Ting
Pacesetter
Class of 2019, undergraduate of BNUBS
It takes us 107 days from the first on-campus training to the successful completion of the task. In these three months, we have experienced repeated choreography of movements, repeated modification of plans, and countless times of repeated training. At the time, What accompanies me is the change of the new scheme, the surprise and expectation of the confidential work, and the mood ups and downs when my role was changed. It is these experiences that make us confident and enthusiastic when we finally stand on the National Stadium. I believe that all our efforts will be accompanied by the perfect end of the Double Olympic city in the "eternal in warmth"!

Ding Yi
Pacesetter
Class of 2020, undergraduate of BNUBS
I have prepared a lot before participating in the activity, but I still feel bad when facing changes and training. It’s the first time that I learned that there are so many heroesand sacrificesbehind the scenesin such a big event. It’s like a dream waking up when all is over, although there is regret I am still unwilling to wake up.

As a song sang like that, "Togetherforthesharedfuture, Let’s move together to the future."Like a snowflake, the volunteers have blended into the world of ice and snow, fulfilled their commitment to the Winter Paralympic Games with practical actions, and demonstrated the responsibility and charm of the students of BNUBS. We are proud of you!
