The Teachers and Students of BNUBS Went to Chongqing for Investigation and Exchange

In order to promote the high-quality development of talent training in BNUBS, deepen the promotion of social practice education, and explore a new model of integrated development of industry and education, Han Lili, Associate Secretary of the Party Committee of BNUBS, led the team, which include Tang Honghong, Associate professor of the Department of Digital Economy and Management; Li Ren, Xu Kaige and the undergraduate and graduate students of the "Endless Stream" Summer Social Practice research team of our School, visited Chongqing Yongchuan Big Data Industrial Park and representative enterprises in the park, as well as the School of Economics and Business Administration of Chongqing University from July 8 to 12. They also participated in the "Cloud Valley Talk, Leading the Future with Wisdom" launch activities of Chongqing software information service industry and education consortium .

On the morning of July 8, Han Lili and her team came to Yongchuan Big Data Industrial Park. Jiang Zhaoyong, chairman of the Park Development and Management Co., LTD., and Feng Lu, a 1996 alumnus of our School and director of Yongchuan Base in Zhongguancun, warmly received the visiting teachers and students. The research team of Professor Tang Renwu, Dean of the Institute of Government Management of Beijing Normal University, also went to the industrial park. Through their explanation, the team has a preliminary understanding of the basic situation of Yongchuan big Data Industrial Park. When the industrial park was established, service outsourcing was the main line, and so far, it has successfully introduced high-tech enterprises such as big data technology, digital cultural creation, digital film and television production, and unmanned driving.The Industrial Park deeply studied and understood the important discussion of the General Secretary Xi Jinping on scientific and technological innovation and the important thought of doing a good job in talent work in the new era, and infused strong impetus into the construction of modern regional central cities with innovation and talent leadership. In 2019, the Industrial Park led the establishment of the Big Data industry Talent Alliance, which absorbed 120 universities in Sichuan and Chongqing as members of the alliance, gathered more than 390 big data-related enterprises, matched the needs of the industry with the talents of the School, and cultivated and transported a large number of big data industry talents every year.

At the symposium, Chairman Jiang Zhaoyong introduced the development process of the park, the main industries and the talent training system in detail. Feng Lu introduced to the participants the work related to talent introduction between the base and the local government and the business planning based on the framework of "service outsourcing + engineering practice + skill training + internship training + enterprise settlement", and exchanged views on the development of AI technology. Professor Tang Renwu shared with the participants the intuitive feeling of the industrial park, the work of the industrial park would be realistic, can closely combine the development of digital industry and talent development. Han Lili expressed her gratitude to the park for this opportunity of investigation as well as their reception and arrangement, and proposed to explore the characteristic model of the integration of industry and education in the industrial park through investigation, grinding and summarizing the formation of teaching cases that can be promoted. Subsequently, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the three core business segments of Yongchuan Industrial Park, including science and technology, film and television, artificial intelligence and Internet of Things, and service outsourcing, as well as talent introduction and business planning.

In the next few days, the team visited Baidu, iQiyi, Tiktok e-commerce, Dawa Technology, Wende, the west part of Renmin University Culture and Technology Park and other units in the park, and went to Chongqing Vocational College of Finance and Economics for visits and exchanges.

In Baidu Group, teachers and students visited Baidu Apollo Campus under the guidance of staff, focusing on the development of its artificial intelligence and autonomous driving technology. In the exhibition hall on the first floor, teachers and students learned about the application layer, model layer, frame layer and chip layer, which integrated a number of core technologies such as high-precision map, environment perception and decision planning.

After visiting the incubated enterprises and the working environment of the park, the teachers and students had a discussion with Tan Rui, General manager and Jiang Dabin, Operation Manager of Chongqing Iqiyi Tide Technology Service Co., LTD. The two sides conducted face-to-face exchanges and discussions on the company's operation content, operation mode, profit model, talent demand and training, student quality, AI technology application and other issues. Through the cooperation between government, school and enterprise, Iqiyi Arts and Culture Park provides training and internship opportunities for students and cultivates talents for enterprises.

In Tiktok E-commerce, teachers and students had a discussion with leaders such as Li Xiang, the head of the base, Liu Jie, the delivery manager, and discussed related topics about artificial intelligence enabling services and talent training models. Tiktok e-commerce in Yongchuan class base is accelerating the layout and construction. So far, the base staff has reached more than 800 people. At present, the base mainly deals with arbitration in Yongchuan, solves users' after-sales disputes, and provides high-quality and public opinion services, which has become an important part of the service outsourcing industry of Yongchuan Big Data Industrial Park.

In Dawa Technology Group, teachers and students visited Dawa Technology studio and experienced virtual shooting technology, and had a discussion with Chen Jian, Dawa Technology Group Vice President and General Manager of Dawa Education Chen Liang, Dawa Technology Group Liu Peiqiang, and other leaders. Mr. Chen introduced in detail the project undertaking and operation of Yongchuan Technology Studio over the years, as well as the actual application of virtual technology in film shooting and other scenes, and said that it would maintain and improve their advantages for having a complete industrial system and strong supporting ability, continue to innovate, accelerate the advancement of the industrial system, and provide higher quality digital content production services for the industry as well as cultivate more industry talents.

In the West part of the Cultural Science and Technology Park of Renmin University of China, teachers and students visited the park environment, and had a discussion with Wang Quan, vice general manager of the West part of the park, Guo Yang, corporate service manager and other West part of the park leaders. The western part of the Cultural Science and Technology Park of Renmin University of China focuses on the development of digital copyright trading and cultural big data annotation, emphasizing the importance of talent flow and training. At present, the park focuses on the development of cluster effect, the pursuit of economies of scale and scope, and the challenges in the field of digital rights trading are continuously optimized, and strive to make more distinctive results.

In Wende Digital Technology Co., LTD., teachers and students had a discussion with leaders such as Yin Xianbo, director Rao Longping and so on. The representatives of the enterprise side elaborated on the development of digital productivity, digital security, industry prospects and the combination of government, industry, university and research to cultivate talents. Wende is a professional digital company with technology research and development + services, providing customers with AI algorithm data production services and data content audit services, covering four aspects, including image, voice, text, and video.

In Chongqing Vocational College of Finance and Economics, teachers and students visited the teaching environment and had a discussion with school leaders. At the meeting, Xiao Yan, Vice president of Chongqing Vocational College of Finance and Economics, delivered a speech and introduced the school-enterprise cooperation and talent training of the school. Participants from both sides exchanged information on the training of digital economy talents. Chen Li, Dean of artificial intelligence and big Data of Chongqing Vocational College of Finance and Economics, presided over the meeting.

On the morning of the 12th, the research team participated in the establishment meeting of the Chongqing Software Information Service Industry and Education Consortium of "Cloud Valley Talk, Leading the Future with Wisdom". At the meeting, four theme activities were held, including the signing of experts for Yongchuan's new quality productivity development think tank, Chongqing Yungu's "AI+ '1437' digital intelligence industry talent open class", the street auction of the integration project of political school, enterprise production and education, and the launch of Chongqing's software information service production and education consortium. Mr. Li Zhigang, Vice President of China Talent Research Society, Mr. Tang Renwu, President of the Institute of Government Management, Beijing Normal University, and Mr. Tian Yongpo, Director of the Human Resource Market and Mobility Management Research Office, China Academy of Personnel Sciences, delivered keynote speeches.

During the investigation, the School's full-time and part-time counselors went to the School of Economics and Business Administration of Chongqing University to exchange ideas on how to promote the high-quality development of student work. Zhang Yan, Associate Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Economics and Business Administration of Chongqing University, Chang Jin, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, and Xiang Chenqian, graduate counselor, participated in the discussion. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on students' party building, employment and social practice, focused on exchanging experience in practice platform construction, benchmarking party branch cultivation, visiting enterprises and expanding posts, and warmly discussed how to integrate resources to better and more efficiently carry out party building activities and social practice exchanges in the development process of the School and the discipline.

In the research gap, Han Lili and others also visited the families of poor students. During the visit, the visiting teachers had a cordial conversation with the parents of the students, got a detailed understanding of the family's main sources of income and living conditions, introduced the relevant assistance policies, gave feedback and exchanges on the students' school performance and learning situation, and explained and answered the questions about the professional development prospects, postgraduate entrance examination, future employment planning and other questions concerned by the parents and students.

The practice research of Yongchuan Big Data Industrial Park also benefited from the support of the social practice key project of the School Youth League Committee, and the coordination arrangement of Zhongguancun Talent (Yongchuan) base. During the five-day trip, the teachers and students of our School learned many advanced management concepts and talent training experience, understood the development prospects of scenario-based new quality productivity, and laid a solid foundation for further promoting the close cooperation with Yongchuan Big Data Industrial Park and the School of Economics and Business Administration of Chongqing University. The research team deeply experienced the landing and grand blueprint of the planning and construction of Yongchuan District in Chongqing, and felt the charm of the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy of the Sichuan-Chongqing Economic Belt. This research enhanced the students' understanding of the digital industrial park and the application scenario of the integration of industry and education, and led the students to strengthen the multi-party practical exchange activities with more enthusiasm, learning and growing in the research.

In the future, the academic and engineering team of BNUBS will further plant the second classroom deeply in the land of the motherland, leading students to effectively inherit the fine tradition of the School of "Promoting business and culture to serve the nation and the world by creating knowledge and developing talents.", serving the economic and social development, studying the problems of the new era, and taking on the responsibilities of the new era.
