Li Jizhen's Lecture On the Underlying Logic of Enterprise Digital Transformation Was Successfully Held

On the evening of October 20, 2024, the 34th lecture of the "Digital Economy and Management Lecture Hall" at BNUBS, titled The Bottom Logic of Enterprise Digital Transformation, was held in the lecture hall of the Electronic Building. Professor Li Jizhen, Associate Dean of the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University, was specially invited to give the lecture. Zhou Jianghua, Director of the MBA Education Center, presided over the lecture. Dean Qi Yudong, Jiao Hao, Li Hui, Li Lun, Li Jing, Xu Kaige and more than 170 students attended the lecture.

Professor Li Jizhen first elaborated on the digital economy from three aspects: production factors, productivity, and production relations, and sorted out the differences between digital industrialization and industrial digitization. He pointed out that in the era of digital economy, enterprises build digital ecosystems through the internet and develop diversified businesses through data. Enterprise digital transformation is the process in which enterprises use digital technology and digital business to drive business model transformation and digital business ecosystem reconstruction. Subsequently, he analyzed the underlying logic of enterprise digital transformation, introduced typical cases of enterprise digital transformation such as Tesla, Shell ACN Network, Alibaba, etc., and put forward several viewpoints such as technology empowerment, data-driven, self growing innovation, and ecosystem evolution. Finally, he looked forward to the future trends of enterprise digital transformation based on Huawei's digital transformation and the Sui Teng OS2.0 system developed in cooperation between Guangzhou Metro Group and Tencent Group. After the lecture, Professor Li Jizhen actively communicated with the students and answered their questions.

They not only gained inspiration and reflection on the digital transformation of enterprises, but also deepened their understanding of related issues through interactive communication. It aims to interpret the connotations and laws of this surging tide and lead deeper thinking and practical promotion of China's economic development and enterprise reform and innovation in the new economic era.
