The 7th Cultural and Economic Forum will be held in Henan University from October 30 to 31, 2021.At the request of the majority of scholars, the deadline of this forum has been extended to September 15, 2021 after consultation with the forum initiators.

The theme of this forum is "Culture, History and Economy", which is co-sponsored by Economic Research Magazine, School of Economics, Henan University and Zhongyuan Research Institute. We are now calling papers from scholars at home and abroad.

 

 

【Background】

"The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Formulation of the 14th five-year Plan for National Economic and Social development and the Proposal of the Long-term goals of 2035" pointed out that: It is one of the long-term goals to build China into a cultural power with remarkable cultural soft power.The overall layout of promoting economic, political, cultural, social and ecological progress is also one of the guiding principles for economic and social development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.To further enhance the influence of Chinese culture and enhance the cohesion of the Chinese nation is one of the main goals of economic and social development during the 14th Five-year Plan period.Culture is one of the factors that have far-reaching influence on economic development and the formation and evolution of culture is also the result of economic development.At present, cultural economics and its related directions have become an important emerging research field in economics.In the process of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, culture itself is not only an important dimension of social development, but also the source of economic development. Throughout history, Chinese culture has a long and profound history.  Looking around the world, Chinese culture is extensive, profound and unique.  Today, the study of cultural economics is particularly important in deepening reform and expanding opening-up.

In order to promote the study of cultural economics by Chinese scholars and strengthen academic exchanges,Economic Research cooperated with School of Economics, Central University of Finance and Economics, School of Economics, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Lingnan College, Zhongshan University, School of Economics, Xiamen University, Institute of Economics, Shandong University, School of Economics, Henan University and Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics to launch the Cultural and Economic Forum since 2015. Since 2015, the forum has been held annually by the sponsoring units in turn.

【Requirements】

Papers must be original, unpublished and unselected works in both Chinese and English, in line with international academic norms. For Chinese writing style, please refer to the published articles in Economic Research andfor English writing style, please refer to the published articles in American Economic Review. We recommend you to use A4 page DOC format. In order to facilitate anonymous evaluation and contact, author information (name, work unit, correspondence address, contact phone number, E-mail, etc.) should be listed on the first page of the application independently.

【Submission】

Authors should send the electronic version of the paper to henujjxlt@163.com before September 15, 2021 with the subject of "the 7th Cultural and Economic Forum -- Author" and the name of the electronic version of the application as "author -- Title" (failure to do so will affect the evaluation of the application).

【Evaluation】

The forum organizers will organize experts to set up a review committee to review all submissions.The first author of the selected paper will be invited to be the official representative of this forum. The acceptance notice and formal invitation letter will be sent to authors before October 10, 2021.The judging committee will give a comprehensive score to each selected paper and recommend excellent papers to Economic Research Based on the discussion on the forum.The excellent papers reviewed by the editorial department of Economic Research will enter the anonymous review process of the journal.

 

【Others】

This forum will not charge the participants' fees for paper review and conference services. Participants will pay for their own transportation and accommodation.The organizer will provide meals during the forum.
