Introduction

Cui Zhiguang, male, is a postdoctoral fellow in Environmental Engineering of Tsinghua University, a senior engineer, the deputy director of Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Research Institute of SaIDI Research Institute of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology who engaged in research on industrial energy conservation, clean energy and environmental protection policy. He is also a project evaluation expert of Ministry of Science and Technology, an expert in database of industrial bid evaluation, a member of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Industrial Water-saving Expert Advisory Committee and a member of standardization group of industrial energy-saving industry. So far, he has published more than 30 scientific papers in public journals and conferences at home and abroad.

In today's world, resource and environmental issues are common challenges faced by mankind. Resource and energy utilization efficiency has become an important factor to measure the competitiveness of national manufacturing industry. After decades of rapid growth, China has established a comprehensive industrial system and become an important force supporting world economic growth. But with the rapid development of industry accompanied by a large number of resources and energy consumption, we also brought great pressure to the ecological environment. Implementing green manufacturing is a concrete manifestation of the concept of green development in the field of production. It is an effective measure to implement the strategy of becoming a manufacturing power, promote industrial transformation and upgrading, and achieve high-quality development of the manufacturing industry. The report will introduce the policies and practices of China's industrial green development from three aspects: the background and connotation of green development, the measures of China's industrial green development, and the overall progress of China's industrial green development.
